small 4 x 4 inch canvas block painted with acrylics.
lower picture to give an idea of scale, but the flash washed it out, as flashes are prone to do.

i seem to be painting my little behind off these days. and actually FINISHING pictures! i wonder what's come over me?

and! the original has been sold to the rather wonderful *Ravenari - check out her artwork, it's beautiful stuff.

Great!!! I've missed seeing your artwork ^^

Could I ask you a question? How do you get the top picture to turn out so well? All of my traditional works look like hell when I try to scan them... then again most of them are too big for the scanner.

Do you just have a reallllly nice scanner?

hehe, actually, quite the opposite! i have a scanner from 12 years ago, and it wasn't even top of the range back then...
what i do is sit down in photoshop with the original next to me, and tweak levels and curves and contrast and so forth until they start to look the same. total pain in the behind, but until i DO get a reallllly nice scanner...... ;-)

Hahah wow! I guess I never really realized how much was possible with that whiny program.. =p

Guess I'll look into fixing up some of my pics then.

And yeah I WISH I had a good scanner.... >.<
